What is INCIkit?
INCIkit is web-based software for cosmetics manufacturers. Manage raw materials and formulations, calculate product costs, plan material requirements and document production, filling and finished goods. Label drafts and selected product documents stay connected to your data. Excel and CSV templates help you get started with existing raw material and formulation data.
Who is INCIkit designed for?
INCIkit is designed for indie brands, small-scale producers, contract manufacturers and growing cosmetics companies. The interface is available in English and German. Formulations, costing, planning and production records also support teams outside the EU. Country-specific checks and product dossiers each have a defined scope; the feature overview explains the available support.
How do I get started with INCIkit?
You sign up for free with your email address. You can then use INCIkit for 14 days within the free trial limits, with no credit card required. In the dashboard, you'll find an onboarding checklist that guides you step by step through the setup: enter your company details, create your first raw materials, build a formula, and document your first production.
What can I do during the free trial?
During the 14-day trial, you can create up to 3 formulas, 5 productions and 25 raw materials without a credit card. The trial includes 30 PDF exports per month for batch records, PIF and batch traceability. Label and CPSR exports, mixing templates and curing/release require Professional or Enterprise. Does INCIkit support the requirements of the EU Cosmetics Regulation?
INCIkit is designed to support you with structured documentation as required by EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. The software helps with composition documentation, INCI declaration, PIF creation, batch traceability, and archiving. INCIkit makes it easier to capture the required information completely and traceably. However, compliance with the regulation is always your responsibility as the manufacturer.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored with Supabase, a cloud provider with servers in the EU. The database is protected by Row Level Security — this means each user can only access their own data, technically enforced at the database level.
